I found a better domain that I think is more suited for my mommy blogging. In fact, I just registered Mommy-blogger.net. I will be setting up the domain and importing everything as well as change my links to all of my other social networking places that I have joined.

I think it will be a better home and I should be able to work wonders.

It is funny though… sometimes a domain name is good motivation to blog more. I have not been keeping up as I should and it has sadly come down to the fact that I am not happy with the name anymore. It served its purpose before.

What will I do with Rouged? I am offering it to my eldest cousin first for her own blog site. If she does not want it, then I might sell it. The domain is about 3 or 4 years old, and has been used for several different projects in the past, including a blog.

So in a way… no, I am not closing this site, just moving it to more promising pastures.

After all this time, I finally applied a simple layout to Rouged. It has been a few months, but I decided to keep with my usual preferred color scheme. The lady in the image is totally made by vectoring. I have not decided, but I may do a vector tutorial based on making that type of image.

Anyway, it would be great to hear some feedback on what you think about it.

I will be blogging on Sunday and getting back on track with some great fashionable finds and some mommy stuff.

I have not been a good girl in updating my new blog. Right now life has been very busy. My stepmother just went through her second back surgery in 90 days. I have been helping out. However, I am back. I do hope to regularly update this blog for fashion and mommy stuff.

Hopefully it will be daily now. As a refresher, Rouged.org is different from Blondish.net. I decided to keep my hardcore personal life from that site and put it here as I like to talk about my family and fashion. I did not find it as a good fit since Blondish.net has been a techy-type blog from the beginning. It was getting annoying not being able to find a place to talk about the other facets of myself. Yeah, sounds strange, but everyone has them. Unfortunately, a website’s focus can only stretch so far, so this is why I took Rouged from my domain name pool and put it up.

I have had rouged.org for a couple years. Before, it was like Despair.nu, a comment exchange site for bloggers. Now, that I have time, I am making it a health, consumer-as-a-mommy, fashion, and beauty blog. I could of course use Blondish.net, but I have so many things going on there that currently these topics would be hard to fit it. Blondish.net has been more about my freebies and project developments.

However, the big thing is incorporating my personal life. This year is a big year, I plan to lose at least 50 pounds. Between the other blogs, I will be putting in updates on my progress and what I do. This is not a fad diet blog. I may talk about my experience with trying fad diets, but this is about becoming healthy in body, mind, and my environment in general.
