L'Oreal EverPure products

I recently received a sample of L’Oreal EverPure shampoo and condition. I like to receive samples, especially hair care items. I am very picky since my hair is very thick, almost to the middle of my back in length, and color treated. This line says it is suppose to be 100% sulfate-free to give your hair the protection it needs to stay vibrant and healthy.

After treating my hair, I did notice it looked cleaner, but it could have been because I usually use Herbal Essences Rose and Jojoba, and have not been switching out my shampoo and conditioner as often as I should. The one thing I did not like is the smell of the two products after I was done. I smelled kind of like a man that had some strong smelling minty gum. The shampoo itself has rosemary and juniper while the conditioner has rosemary and mint. By the time I got done, I remember my boyfriend asked if I had put toothpaste in my hair.

Otherwise, my hair felt smooth, but not as smooth as I am normally use to. I think that this shampoo could easily pass as something a man could tolerate more.
