You'd think the child would wanna eat the happy meal since most kids love those things. I know I did when I was little. To be honest, I had the same habit when I was little and I remember my mom doing nothing about it. I just grew out of the habit when she would talk to me about how other children aren't as lucky as I am so it's best I eat it all and not waste my food. Instead, if he doesn't want to eat it all, make him save it for later and finish it then. Don't force him to eat food that he doesn't want. He's just a child. He'll understand as he gets older. My mom would always say "your eyes are bigger than your stomach so get little bits of food so you won't waste it" and she was right. Hope the advice helps. :) Hmm..interesting. I had a friend who was so worried about this issue that she actually would not buy kids' meals. She purchased everything separately so as to eliminate the toy from the picture entirely.
