There are so many out there, name brand like Oxy and Noxema, and generic brands. Some have cool tingle factors, and others do not. Truthfully, after years of using them, I have come to the conclusion that there really is no difference. They all wip away the dirt. They smell strong, and if you accidentally cut yourself (even on your fingers), it may even burn a bit. They contain very similar amounts of salicylic acid.
However, they are effective. My suggestion is to look for the generic brand, no matter where you buy your product. Walgreens and Walmart have their own generic brands. They usually cost 20 cents to 50 cents cheaper than the name brands. As said, I have not really found much of a difference in this type of beauty product.
If facial pads do not help, you should either consult a dermatologist or try another type of acne product. You should be aware that the facial cleansing pads do dry out your skin after use, so you should always have a moisterizer ready to put on.
