I love shopping, especially for clothing and jewelry when I can. Rouged has given me the outlet from my other blog at Blondish to write about fashion. Fashion is in the eye of the beholder. Of course, fashion is an art itself, and like the old phrase, “everyone is a critic.”
However, I have decided that once a month I would put an outfit together from several places. Two regular sized outfits and then two for plus sizes. All of the outfits will look similar, but the pricing and stores will be different. Not everyone can afford Banana Republic or Gucci or any admirable brands. So, I am giving a little bit of everything.
For February, I wanted to go clean, and casual; a stylish white blouse and a dark pair of slacks, preferably denim or dark colored.

I decided to buy Pilates on DVD. It was not easy to start, but I think it will give me more direction on floor exercises.
Karate is going great, but I am pushing the lessons because some of my former co-workers are going to pay my boyfriend. He and I spent a lot of time this past weekend cleaning out our garage so all of us will be able to have lessons there. It is great because we were doing lessons in the living room. There is enough room, but sometimes both my boyfriend’s son and my son are also learning together, so it gets cramped and we have to move valuable things to preventing it from getting broke.
I am contemplating picking up an older DVD for 3 minute abs as I remember back in high school that I really did ‘feel the burn.’
So far I have lost 10 pounds since I last checked. I try to only do weight progress ever 2 weeks, so there really is not much difference. I am hoping with more focus using Pilates, I might lose inches too.
Between this, my web design clients, and my own network, getting a new theme up just for Rouged has been a slow process. I have an assortment of topics to blog here too as this blog is geared a bit different from Blondish.net. I am in dire need of link exchanges here, especially on related sites.
I have started to try to cut out certain foods and moderate my intake. In return, I am replacing it with filling salads and fruits. I really do not want to do any weight loss gimics, but I was curious on the Slim shots. Has anyone tried it?
I have tried Allí, Trimspa, and Hydroxycut, but only got minimal results. With having IBS (irritable bowel syndrom), Allí was not a great choice at all. The others with exercise only did so much. This time around, I am doing it naturally. The only thing I will be taking is a multi-vitamin.
I have been a little hungry, but on a manageable level. I am not looking for immediate results, just to re-tune my body.
I have been trying to cut out the soda and have been soda-free for two weeks. It makes it difficult if a restaurant does not have tea, so I have to ask for water. The other ordeal is if the water is tap, then I find I am without a drink. So, instead I found an alternative, I bring a bottled tea or water. Although at first I was told I could not, I explained that I do not like tap water and I am trying to not drink soda. The only think carbonated that I do drink is beer, which I will not cut out as I only drink it twice a week on the weekends.
I have lost 10 pounds already. Since it is really cold, it has been hard to go out walking. Also, we recently had snow significant snowfall. I have been loyally doing floor stretches and exercises as well as the karate. I cannot wait until it gets warmer. My boyfriend has offered to be my walk buddy, so it not only will be great for exercise, but also a great time together with him.
